It’s Saturday and who doesn’t have a lot to do on their list, including me. This that and the other thing and they all seem important. But last night I received a phone call that gave me the news that my closest cousin had just passed away. It’s taken the wind out of my sails.
Just had an email in from Commando Bill and he has received a similar message with the news of a death of a friend. Let me quote Bill,”this stuff shakes up the normalcy of life pretty much.” Yea.

Sorry for your loss and also that of Commando Bill. We have arrived at an age where there is more and more of that, reminding us continually how fragile and precious each of our days are. So, while we must mourn for the dead, we must continue to praise the living.
