Our Catherine sent me a lovely note yesterday, saying “she was thinking it would be helpful to let blog followers know how plans are shaping up for Phil’s remembrance.”
Saturday October 30, 2021
10:30 AM – Rosary at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Vashon, followed by
11:00 AM – Mass of Christian Burial, followed by graveside interment at Vashon Cemetery
There will be some sort of reception & celebration of Phil’s life following the graveside interment. The exact time and place have yet to be determined.

Will reluctantly sad, yet as joyfully as able, celebrate Phil and His Camino journey these last 10 years with the rosary, mass & burial. Oh, to be with all you Caminoheads, Rebecca, Wiley, Henna & Tesia and family. The hugs and love we all share will be evident all the way to Heaven and beyond. I’ll be there. Not certain of my grandsons, Bailey and Alex. I will let them decide. 💙🚶🏼♂️🕊 📿💙
Does anyone know if the Mass for Phil will be streamed online for those of us who would like to see it but will be unable to attend?
