I reached the last hole on my belt and had to put it aside. My Rebecca is a jewel. I slept overnight for the first time in the Elk Hotel. We had a storm of wind and rain and it was wild and wooly out there but felt I had to check for leaks. Henriette recently bought a hat rack for the tent to carry gear when not in use, good piece of gear. The corn is done for 2021, the sugar turned to starch. It was a very good crop. Thank you, algratful.

A Thousand Blessings to the General.
Thank you William and those blessings to you! Felipé.
Stopping by the ranch today I will say that it was a wild night for Phil to sleep out.. So good to see he and Rebecca. So much love coming to them, and between them. We hold them in prayer together.
Michelle ~ thanks for stopping by today. You are one of the special people in the neighborhood, yes. Thanks for being with us as we move through this period, this challenge. Felipé.x
Ah! Felipe!!
So incredibly good to hear from you. The Elk Hotel has a five star rating, or did you know that already? The starch continues to dry in PFJ’s corn ears, and that’s a good thing. Temps over the last few days in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. That may sound uncomfortable, but it sounds like the cash register “ka-chinking” to me. This hot and dry weather right now is naturally drying down those beautiful ears with the now-loosened shucks, and that means I’ll be shelling out less bucks for propane to get those kernels dried down to safe storage levels, 13% or so.
You’re in our daily prayers, ol’ Farmer Felipe. The grand’s don’t have to ask anymore “Who’s Phil?”. You’re famous, man, when the Grands know who you are.
Love ya,
SF,

Ah John, thank you for recognizing our worth here in the Northwest. I realize it’s not Iowa or anywhere near Iowa. But we are doing our best to say, “Fresh corn here!” Hehe.
We heard from George Will on the Tube tonight. He has a lot of credibility with me coming from way back as he does. So, he seemed in a positive mood in regard to moving our country out of the present quagmire. I try to avoid talking about politics at all costs but here we are today.
So glad you are cashing in on the current weather there. Always fab to save money. So with as this cash please keep bribing those Grands with doughnuts and stuff so they remember who the heck Phil is!
Hey, have to go. My night in the tent was a little shaky on sleep. I’ll go and stay inside tonight, on a nice quiet night, sure that makes sense. Love you man! Felipé.
So good to get an update! Continued prayers and love to you and Rebecca!
Susan ~ oh, and great to hear from you Susan. We are just making our way through Fall and it’s particular challenges. But I wanted to make it to the Oasis and this here, this time, is all gravy for me, for us.
Stay in touch, maybe we can Zoom or FaceTime with all of us, with Becky. Felipé.x
It’s good to hear from the General! I was wondering how a night in the Elk Hotel would be. Here along the Camino in Spain we turned on the heating system last night for the first time.
We are baking brownies for a group of veterans walking the Camino and spending a night at Flores del Camino next door. We will pass along a salute from you.
Love from us
Ron ~ albeautiful! Felipé.
Know that many folks are praying with and for you in the mtns of Colorado.
