Thursday today, the day in between my hospital appointments. Had fun yesterday at my all dayer. Had fun yesterday mainly because I met Harry. I broke in on a conversation between him and his daughter when they were talking Vashon. Then we laughed and giggled through the afternoon till I had to go sit in the corner. No, that didn’t happen, the corner thing, but it is always hanging over my head. Sometimes we are too loud, like the Italians on the Camino. In some places they give you an award for enthusiasm I hear.
Anyway, Harry has a Vashon connection and I expect to see him out here walking on on Phil’s Camino. He will be a good addition and we can talk as loud as we want. Speaking of which I am walking momentarily and I never know who will show up. Sometimes it’s a crowd and sometimes I’m with Mother Mary alone.

Ahhh, Felipe, my days are so very full, but I am always walking alongside you, my friend. I send you my love, and wish I could be there on one of those perfect summer days! We are actually having one of those ourselves down here in LaLa Land. It has been so hot many of my plants are burning. Not on fire burning, but their leaves are scorched. But today, no, Mother Nature is reveling in her beauty, tossing her tresses and loving the heck out of all of us mere mortals. Life is good. Love ya and am right there with ya! I know I missed movie monday, but maybe it was tie for a rest 🙂 Next week there will undoubtedly be more news! Be well, and I will take you on a walk with me down here in my neighborhood later. I know you saw some of our posts from our week hiatus to New York for the wedding of one of my Camino kids. Amazing how much love can be generated and stored from that most amazing of all walks. Kate was a radiant, beautiful, faith-filled, gracious, grateful, and loving Bride. My cup runneth over when we got to talk for a while at the marvelous reception they threw for all of us. “I didn’t have to take anyone less than my heart had asked of me!” Such a sweet remark that reflected so much of what she and I had talked about in our hours and miles of walking side by side. She feared having her standards set so high, they could never be met. I told her she was wrong about that. And her Groom, Dan, was living proof of that. Such a happy day for all of us. And the most Catholic Wedding I’ve ever been to, as well: a sung high Mass with most of the liturgy in Latin. Wow!!
Glad things went well for you on the big medicine day. Prayed for you at our weekly mass in good ol’ St Joe’s.

There is a car race on Cable put on at New River Air Station, North Carolina. Was that the one right next to Lejuene where they gave great haircuts and had the cool sun glasses?
