In A Few Minutes

William has survived the winter!

My old old friend Jim and his wife Gloria are flying in this morning to SeaTac airport. They are probably over Eastern Washington at the moment and supposed to land at 1040.

I still have work to do. Last touches on the guest room mostly and clean out the debris in the back seat of the car. No one would ever accuse us of being neatniks, no sir.

Just heard from Ronaldo our Caminoheads Astorga Bureau Chief. They just got their first shot of the vaccine with the second in sight. They, he and Ann, are coming to see us and I think that this means the Oasis. That would be great! Will find out more details.

For now, I am going to go and scurry around. Keep in touch as always.

sun’s out loves, Felipé.

  1. They’re lucky to be on a plane I think that the last one I went on was September 2019 flying back from Amman, Jordan to London, England via,as I recall a change in Istanbul as it was Turkish Airlines.Managed to combine my hospital appointment at the Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma Clinic in Newcastle with a little ferry ⛴️ trip North Shields to South Shields which crosses the River Tyne and takes about 10 minutes.my first ferry of 2021!It looks like I am going onto a new chemical agent to try to combat the spreading Mycosis Fungoides called Interferon Alpha which you have to inject directly into your stomach! however I’m saved that dubious pleasure for 6 weeks as that’s how long it takes for the Targrettin/Bexarotene to clear my system and it didn’t work.

    1. Kevan ~ you have the large scale journey on planes and ferries and then an inner journey of chemicals and resilience. Thank you for reporting on them both. Felipé.

  2. Thank you Felipé for that very optimistic comment re winter being behind me.
On Wednesday we were out playing in the snow.
Guess what? today and tomorrows forecast includes SNOW.
Not out of the woods yet Luv.
