We were off to the hospital to get our portable chemo pumps unhooked today. I was a little hung over from last night’s dinner party with neighbors and Jennifer was driving and doing the heavy lifting for the both of us. And At one point I asked her how she was doing and she smiled and said, ” Swimmingly.”
swimmingly – smoothly and satisfactorily.
What a cool word. Maybe we could hear that more often. Thanks Jennifer. Once again, love you, Felipe.
PFFelipe,
If the opportunity ever arises, your Jennifer will get to experience what it’s like to be in the presence of not just one, but two, genuine, big hearted, smiley faced, pretty damn funny and rough-edged cute, sorta old Former Marines simultaneously. I’m betting she gets along “swimmingly”. 🙂
MY Camino-connected-left coast-amiga Jennifer would fill out the smiles quota all around. She came out to Iowa two weeks ago to ride our annual cross bike ride with my bike club and we enjoyed hours of “God talk”. Her best line of the week was “being at Mass makes my heart happy”. Yeah, great huh.
SF,

PFJ ~ truly great to have you back after your temporary duty. Really not the same without you any more and the quality of your material has so improved. I’m to the point of maybe being able to get you twenty bucks a comment. Yea, we’re all flush from the massive revenue from the corn stand, we can afford it. Hehe. When we stop having fun let me know so I can pull the plug, Felipe Farmer Phil. And hello to all the Jennifers out there.
