I was here minutes ago wondering what to blog on today when Annie called from the theater on Santa Monica Blvd where Phil’s Camino – So Far So Good is playing. I think that it is a two day run there. She was telling me who had come and what was said.
She said that she got choked up at the point where I get to go to Spain when the audience started to clap. Haha. Yup, that’s good.
We just showed the original short version a couple of days ago for My Rebecca’s cousin who had seen the long version in Indianapolis last year. It’s all good even though Rebecca and I have seen it a million times now.
And Annie asked if there was anything that I wanted to say to the audience that she could pass on. I had to think a minute but what has mostly been on my mind lately is that we are busy fighting fear for you and for me. That is what’s up. We are trying to push it back so we have room to operate. That’s it in a nutshell.

Not sure if this relates Phil, but the daily bread, daily provision piece of our walk with God is a way to deal with fear for me. I spent TWO hours hand picking slugs and army worms off my fall greens on Friday night (no wonder I am still single:), so that my community customers do not eat poison, but also a time of prayer for all of the things before me to pray about. I bring these prayers to the Father because I am picking slugs. We are in different dimensions but connected. I am asking Him to come in.
Also I think you have been offered as a help to a greenhouse snow ladder? No more showing up with compadres to push it all up and off for hours this winter! Check your dailies:).

Yes, and Dana and Catherine are volunteering us to build some sort of gadget for the snow removal. It all sounds good in theory. Sounds like it would be worthwhile to give it a try hey? Felipé.x

I was there, at the Royal theater that day. Your movie touched me so Much I promptly emailed Annie with my feelings. I have not been able to stop thinking about the doc. I hope to one day walk the Camino, but at least it would be an honor to walk with you on your trail.
I, too have had my challenges, and I just was in awe of the way you were able to deal with your chemo. Although I was quite positive myself when I went through it, I just loved watching the strength in you. You give so Many life lessons, and those that are lucky enough to cross paths with you are so blessed .

The Royal is one of a group of old art theaters in Los Angeles owned by the “Laemmle” family. They show indie, docs and just great films that are not always at the larger theaters. The Royal is on Santa Monica bl in West Los Angeles. Between century city and Santa Monica . I hope your film will be shown again. I have never been to Seattle but hope to Make a trip there with my daughter.
