Arrived at Castrojeriz. Sun hot and we are sheltered at the albergue. Need to shower and wash my sweaty clothes and then find a beer, long day.
I was thinking about it being Monday and some of my friends and angels are back to work in places like Miami and Barcelona. I was singing the official song of Hotel California for you, Vella Chiruca. You are dear ones.
Just looked at my pedometer and have 45,188 steps today. That’s ridiculous! Miller Time for sure.
Just want mention the instructions that Phil’s Angels left so that I would not get into trouble after they flew away: 1. Eat more. 2. Hydrate more. 3. No drinking after 2130. 4. Remember to take your meds. 5. There are always angels. This good advice for us all of course.
Oh yes! Monday, Monday! Back to work, back to reality! Wait, what is reality, anyway? 😉 I am happy you took notes of the Angel’s instructions, now please follow them! Keep practicing Vella Chiruca as we will have to sing it again when we will all meet.
Annamaria, Right, what is reality anyway? Miss you immensely. Yes, I have been trying to be a good boy by following the Angel Instructions! Love you, Phil.
Miami angels keeping tabs from a distance! Remember us when you have that first cold beer after a long walk, there’s another instruction!
Alida, I think of you all the time. It is hard on the Meseta now. No friends left. It must be hard for you getting back to work and the old routine. Love you, Phil.
I have a thought for you everyday!! Do you hear them? My heart smiles at the same time.
I have the strong need to share with all my family and friends the camino experience. I suppose that this sharing help me keep on walking..
There so much enthusiasm and love in my words when I spoke of it that all of them write on their wish list the will of doing it sooner…
Let’s keep on singing with joy Phil !!!
Lots of love for you and Kelly.
Also..big hug
You’ve been my masters..
Angel number 3, Laura
