It Is Supposed To Be A Challenge

Onward!
Onward!

Life that is. We are constantly stressed by one thing or another as we walk on our Way. We groan and moan as we put another blistered foot down on the Walk. We see others that have greater challenges and we realize that we can do what we are supposed to do. We ask God for strength, clarity, peace.

Life that is. Maybe someone along the trail sees us struggling and walks along with us till we stabilize and then they are gone. Who was that?

Life is like that. Semi mysterious, semi delirious we all go on. Look there is a cafe and coffee up ahead. Man, it is going to feel good to just sit for a while. Can you join me? Love, Felipe.

  1. Hola PFF,

You’re always “nail on the head” with your timeliness. Haven’t had this much “challenge” for as long as I can remember. Got released from hospital yesterday and spent first night at home last night. So good to be home but it magnifies how much I have to do to get back to “normal”. And, as you so presciently noted, it’s so easy to think of others with much greater challenges. I refer to my good farmer buddy, Lanny, who has been in the recovery mode since July after having been struck by a truck while he was riding his bicycle on a country road. There were very few bones in his body that WEREN’T broken or mangled, and he has to deal with PT on all of them. I just have one big ol’ hip bone that needs to be coerced into mating up with a high priced chunk of titanium and plastic. So, I promise not to “bitch” anymore than is healthy for the average Marine.
    The difficult we do immediately,
The impossible takes a little longer,

    1. PFJ ~ Guess I was thinking of you when I wrote that. Good to see that you are back home buddy. May you heal like a twenty year old. You will be walking pretty well by planting time or I can come out there and help. Hang in there Skipper, PFF.

  2. SO nice to hear from PFJ! You have been in my prayers, and I even called and asked Felipe how you were doing! You have created quite a network here, my dear Egg Man. I love checking in and even though I don’t always comment, I always include you in my thoughts, my prayers, and of course, my walks, which really are just moveable prayers. Love you, love PFJ, love your neighbors, and all who check in here. I think you quoted this once: We are all just walking each other home. It is nice to be in such good company. <3

    1. Thank you Annie for being here for us. My Rebecca just got linked up with PFJ on FB. He or someone there at the farm is a big FB enthusiast. Maybe you could check in with them regarding FB to keep better in touch. I feel like those guys in Iowa are a big heart beating in the center of us all. SJA, love, Felipe.
