Went to Mass with Catherine this AM. And we have a walk and tapas later this PM. In the meantime I am getting a little hammock time in. Windy today so there is constant motion. Nice. Just a lazy Sunday. I have time to think of you, love, Felipe.
OK Dude Felipe, you already had me with the corn and the hammock and the tapas and your Rebecca’s flowers, but now I’ve been yanked directly into the boat with this Delilah introduction. Going to have to start studying the flight deals to the Great North West.
BTW, 10 years ago today I dipped the back wheel of my trusty Trek bicycle into the great salt water at Gray’s Harbor and started pedaling east following the path of the intrepid Merriweather Lewis and William Clark. I kept pedaling for the next 49 days and ended up dipping my front tire in the Mighty Mississippi River. Great stories to tell of that adventure. Ask me sometime how I know how fast a badger can run!

PFJuan ~ just got in after “doing the flags”. We raise money for the Legion by putting up flags all over the Island 12 times a year. I think we have something like a hundred.
Sounds amazing, the bike trip following Lewis and Clark, I’m impressed. But we’re too old for that now, right? I need a desk job, a desk hobby maybe. What ever happened to stamp collecting anyway? No, but I will have to catch the slide show on that trip one of these days.
Yea, man we will have to get together here on Vashon and in Iowa too. I have 101 corn questions for you for starters and that sounds like a lot of beer. You could come and help me by harvesting one of these blacktail deer. Or we could follow Delilah Pearl around to her gigs. She needs some good cheap stage hands. Or my neighbor is a river fishing guide. We could go catch something, cook it and eat it.
Will, God willing we will be healthy and the crops and our other projects will keep some money in the coffers. We will come up with a plan shortly to get together, no doubt. Talk to you soon and keep the comments coming. Felipe.
