The Hoopla!

Raven Ranch residents out celebrating!

You guys exhausted me with all the birthday hoopla yesterday. No wonder birthdays only come once a year! It looks like a pretty day today but yesterday was all rain. I think that I changed wet clothes three times. But dried out now.

Jessika our Liason to Order of Malta got my name up on the marque at the Vashon Theater. Thank you dear. The last time I was up there it was Phil’s Camino showing with Apocalypse Now. Good pairing!

Yea, we had three walks and then the big Zoom party in the late afternoon. That was so fun. Must thank everyone there. And thank you all for the kind words and thoughts. It was only Pilgrim Farmer John who attempted a roast of Felipé. But it was pretty kindly, more like a sear. Thanks Annie for putting it together, you’re a peach! OK John, you’re are a peach too!

Becky got put to work on the trail. In the rain and in the pandemic 2020.

Another high point was Becky making it out to walk the trail. Remember she is the one I met at the hospital recently. Some of the time I put her to work sprucing up the bird feeders along the trail. And we had plenty of time to talk. Then she was able to get back to her place in Seattle and participate in the Zoomer. Also, her folks in Montana joined us for the long distance party. So, new folks coming in.

Well we got that out of the way and before we get all ready to roar into Christmas on the 25th we have Cris’s CSABC birthday on the 23rd. Let’s get some emails on her there cloistered away in Buenos Aires.

OK, keep it all going!

long distance loves, Felipé.

  1. Dear Phil,
What a wonderful opportunity to spend some time with you and Rebecca, Phil. Yesterday, I went to sleep thinking and thanking for having met you and getting through it a place in this table. Yesterday, I was thinking on the stars aligning, the same that so many years ago seemed to be the same ones who led humanity to a new birth, and for a moment, I was thinking that we were honoring that “B”irth so well with the love that was felt through the screens and the miles that separated us…
I loved to her all, but I loved specially to hear the words of our new friends Becky, and her parents… his father’s words were very touching… and I was thinking they had no idea what comes next, just for being your friend and coming to “live with us” in this neighborhood!

Who would NOT want to be your neighbor? LOVES,
    Cris

    1. Cris ~ and a Happy Birthday to you on this day! It‘s all one big party anymore! I wish that we were all there with you to celebrate. You are the best, Felipé.x

  2. Hi Phil,

We really enjoyed the Zoom party and the chance to meet you virtually! And how special it was that Becky had the opportunity to walk Phil’s Camino. We feel honored to be a part of your Camino family and hope to meet sometime when we are out in the Seattle area.

Many blessings to you and Rebecca,
    Susan and Curt

    1. Susan and Curt ~ it is all very timely that we all stumbled into each other. But that’s how the Camino works! Mark your calendar for the get together, August 20-23rd. Merry Christmas to you all in Montana! Felipé.x
