Smells And Dreams

Our moon is in it’s waxing crescent, 19% illumination.

Well, yesterday’s blogpost went over OK. We had a couple of great comments on the topic. I know that it is a little bit touchy but there is something there and maybe more to it than first meets the eye. I do know that we all communicated across cultural and language barriers.

So here is another one for you today. This is another slightly offbeat topic, dreams. We all dream and we don’t always know what to do with those dreams. They may seem strange and disconnected from our “normal” reality. So, yesterday friend and Caminohead Debra came to the Institute to see me and compare notes. So, here is something that she came in with that I need to ask you about. I can’t really give you this exactly and it will be without details because it is her dream and I didn’t ask permission to share it. Not that it was risqué or anything, the elements were very calm and country. But the surprising thing was that it was a message for me. The dream actually said, “This is a message for Phil Volker.” Has any of you ever heard of anything like that? I can’t remember anything in my experience to match that.

You know, I am honored to be a part of her world in this way. It just is new territory to be linked up and communicating in such ways. All semi woo woo you know.

Off I go on today.

dreamy loves, Felipé.

I’ve heard of it, I’d say go with it. Not woo woo at all.

A friend of mine who worked at the Seattle Opera died. The night he died, another friend, who didn’t know him, had a dream about him, with a message to me. It was filled with symbolism from Wagner’s RING, that only I knew, and he and I had shared. Coming from a messenger, rather than in a dream directly to me, made the message more powerful, since I didn’t dismiss it, thinking I had made it up. Pay attention to Debra’s message. God sends messages through his angels.
    So cool.

I do think that God does speak to us through our dreams. This is shown throughout the Old and New Testament.
It is not always easy to know what is from God and what is not, but it is good to search out the voice of God.
Henriette Anne, it is wonderful to be able to recognize these messages and to share them with everyone.
    Thank you-
    Bob

I do dream, sometimes remembering the details or the scenery or the message, but not always. Most times the message I have remembered in dreams is to my own ego – advice on going through the right door at the right time. But I do recall getting thoughts to pass along to my daughter when she was grade school age. I passed them along and I guess they were understood, she turned out great. So I think that there is a channel in dreams for third-party messages.
As for sense of smell, I lost mine years ago as a result of some flu bug, and I share my life with Ann who is constantly telling me about the aroma of the flowers we walk among, that someone is baking bread or roasting a chicken. I miss all of it. My food tastes come largely from remembering what things tasted like years ago, and there is no food that tastes bad to me any more.
So if you can smell people, count it as another blessing! It is only a dream for me.

Ron ~ OK, the third party channel, that is what we are talking about. Somehow I have never run into this one. Sorry about your smeller, that sounds like a challenge. Hello to Anne. Felipé.
