Shifting Gears

Thomas Merton’s contribution.

Anyone know what that means anymore? I heard that the latest antitheft device for your vehicle was having a stick shift. Apparently there are only a few of us that know how to work them in 2018. But shifting gears meaning that I am going from one mode to another here, outback mode to film festival mode. Yikes, can Felipé pull it off one more time?

Jamesie and I got all the birds cleaned and in salt water yesterday morning and tonight we are putting together a game dinner. And then we are off early tomorrow morning for Heartland. And big surprise that Catherine y Dana got seats on the same flight to go with us! The plot thickens as they say.

I have been reading Thomas Merton’s book lately. He is working on explaining love or relationship. There are all kinds of details that I had never thought of before. Which is good I suppose. I mean this guy really really thought about this stuff for our sake. But we know that the real essence is way beyond our ability to explain. We know that.

Well, have a walk in a few minutes. Looking forward to seeing what has been going on around the trail. Will probably be writing from the plane next. See ya loves, Felipé.

  1. Looking forward to seeing you in Indianapolis!
Be sure to share Merton’s wisdom with us students of live or relationship. I try to learn something each day.
    Buen Camino!
