Home Safe And Sound

All good now. Just want to let you know that Our Jennifer is home and I am home after day with complications at the hospital. Can’t be specific but because of excellent care, steely determination and a rosary we pulled out a victory.

Victoriously we love, Felipe.

  1. So glad you are home safe, and sound. The way is difficult, some days more than others – you walk with grace and the love and caring of fellow pilgrims everywhere.

    1. Catherine ~ Thanks for your thoughts and prayers that I always know I can count on. Yea, it feels good to get over yeaterday. Looking for an easy day today. I’ll pick you up for Mass on Sunday. Love, Felipe.

  2. Oh Felipe, trying not to worry, instead sending big prayers, and lots of love. Is there anything I can do as back up support team? Chicken soup?

    Big love,
    dana

    1. Hi Dana ~ I’ll let you know if we need any help, good for the moment. Love, Felipe.

  3. PS I remember that albugue!!!- wasn’t it near the wind sculptures? On one side or the other.

    1. Dana ~ That was a very cool albergue for sure although I don’t remember the wind sculptures. They had goo food and wine and the accommodations were muy comfortable. Just what a burned out pilgrim needs. Love, Felipe.

  4. You are always always walking with the prayers of so many lifting you, holding you, reaching for you even now. More than you know. We count ourselves lucky, those of us who pray for you. <3
Knowing rest and peace today. Love you!

    1. Thank you Annie for the reminder of that beautiful thing, brings a tear to this old Marine. The box did show up yesterday and thank you so much for that too. Love, Felipe.

  5. Hello, I told Jeff that you and Jennifer were having a rough time at the hospital so we said a big prayer for you both! Glad you are home now. That always helps. Thinking of you everyday in Salt Lake City. Love, Jeff and Erin

    1. Erin ~ hi, nice to see you in the comments section. A lot of folks have checked in here after reading about our tough stretch of the trail yesterday. I think everything has settled out for the moment and we are back at the hospital tomorrow. Never a dull moment apparently. When I started this blog I modeled it after the one on the movie “Julie and Julia” about the woman who was cooking her way through Julia Child’s French cookbook one recipe per day. It was a report on this on going project and somedays the soufflĂ© made it and somedays not. So that’s life right, an up and down project. Hey, take care for now, hello to Jeff. Love, Phil.
