Got Done

Daisies

Last night I got done with the book of poetry by Brian Doyle.  I might blog on a few of those in the future.  You remember from a not too distant blog post that I wrote he left his email address on the last page of the book.  But the ironic thing is that he died before I got to reading this particular book.  But none the less I feel some interesting sort of bond with him.

My Rebecca just bought me two more of his works.  One entitled Chicago and another a kid’s book called Children & Other Wild Animals.  I am looking forward to those.  I always have a book going but it takes me forever to read them.  I am too busy with the corn and other projects to sit.

Well, I have seven pilgrims showing up here in a few minutes.  Always fun to meet folks and sort out their stories.  I think they will be here on the Island for the weekend so we will see more of them.

Stay cool or if you are in Buenos Aires stay warm, love you always, Felipe.

  1. Lol!! Thank you for the advice Felipe!!! Weather is crazy here … yesterday it was a warm even hot spring… today is a grey rainy and cold autumn (not winter yet though) … and as expected I am in bed with a sore throats and starting to feel poorly (wait, “I” am the one complaining???!!!!!!)

By the way, I thought about the Camino dictionary… I have a couple thoughts to share with you regarding that!!

Love to you! Have fun with the pilgrims, the kids at the archery retreat, the weeds, the corn and all that goes on on that spot of the world!

    1. Dear one in Buenos Aires ~ do get well soon. Take care of yourself and we will pray for you. We partied pretty hearty last night with the pilgrims. I think we are going to catch dinner and head back over there to see them. They rented a beach house for a few days and this is there last evening. Kelly my old Camino partner is back from Spain and going with us. I will have to pace myself in this endeavor. The best to you, Felipe.x
