Sister Joyce Checking In

Annie and I having a laugh.

Our buddy Sister Joyce called in this morning as I was waiting to meet with my doctor. She just wanted to see how things were going. And they are going well. Thanks Sister Joyce.

And Catalina and I just figured out how to video call with each other for a talk with her class on Monday. She teaches a graduate level class on pilgrimage and Felipe will be working with them for an hour or two. Catalina shows them Phil’s Camino and then we do a question and answer remotely.

Steve Watkins will be here Friday for a couple days. Man, we got people coming and going. Sort of never a dull moment on Phil’s Camino. Catalina will be here the weekend of the 25-26th. And Annie is coming early December.

Something tells me things will slow down when the rains hit. This has got to start pretty quick here. The prediction is that we will have a cold wet winter. Better get the old soup pot cranked up.

Well, we are walking tomorrow morning. Catherine y Dana have a friend in from New Zealand and they will be here for that. We are back on schedule but note this is the winter schedule the afternoon sessions start a half hour earlier:

Monday 0900-1000
Tuesday 1530-1630
Thursday 0900-1000
Sunday 1530-1600

Stop by when you can or comment when you can. Love, Felipe.

  1. LOVE THAT PICTURE OF YOU AND ANNIE.
DO YOU HAVE A KILT TO MATCH THAT TIE?
NEXT QUESTION. WHEN IS THE ONE HOUR VERSION COMING OUT?
    STAY WARM.
    WILLIAM

    1. William ~ And thanks for those great pics that you sent recently. Yes, that is a great tie and no, sorry no kilt. You are the only one that looks good in a kilt that I know of. Just watching hockey here on the TV. Do they ever play hockey in kilts? And does anyone really know the rules to curling? Just a couple Canada questions.

Well, the hour long we’ll come out as soon as possible. It is close. The main thing to do yet is the music. I think that is going to start in December. We have seen two roughcut versions and we really like it. And it can only get better. So, hang on. Stay warm, Felipe.

      1. THEY SAY OIL AND WATER DON’T MIX AND I WOULD SAY THE SAME OF HOCKEY AND KILTS.
ALTHOUGH WE DO HAVE A COMPANY UP HERE CALLED “MEN IN KILTS”. THEY DO ALL SORTS OF MAINTENANCE WORK INCLUDING CLIMBING LADDERS TO WASH WINDOWS.MAYBE IN THEIR LEISURE TIME THEY PLAY HOCKEY????
OVERALL I’D SAY AS A TRUE SCOTSMAN PLAYING HOCKEY IN A KILT COULD CAUSE A LITTLE DAMAGE TO SPECIFIC BODY PARTS.
AS FOR CURLING IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE THERE ARE NO RULES ATTACHED TO THIS GAME.JUST THROW THAT ROCK AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE HOUR LONG VERSION.

        1. William ~ thanks for the great Canadian cultural report. I had a feeling hockey in kilts was not a winner but thought that I would check. And curling remains a mystery. I have wondered how curling got its start, guys trying to bonk the Loch Ness monster with a rock? Or is that a stone? Anyway it’s all fun, keep warm, Phil.

  2. You’re my Hero, Amigo Felipe!
I count five females (not including the ever present Rebecca!), which gives a six to one ratio of women to men that get to share your time and presence. Steve may need a little reassurance that he’s not the “token male”. 🙂 Maybe I can be you when I grow up.

    1. Juan ~ I really had to thpake a break and think about how to answer this. Yes, that is the way it is shaking out, somewhere around six to one. That’s a good idea to give Steve a little reassurance. And I am so glad that we aren’t grown up yet. Hello to the fam, Pilgrim Farmer Felipe.
