I seem terribly unfocused today but maybe that is a good thing. Let’s start with Annie’s quote for Day 9 of the Everyday Camino with Annie:

Maybe this quote is for me today as I sit here with my “terribly unfocused” self. Seems to fit, yes? This is the place to operate from today apparently.
Story time, I don’t know if I have talked about this but maybe and anyway probably a sufficiently long time ago. Just saw a shot on the TV of Joe Biden looking presidential in this time when he is supposedly thinking about running next year. If we go back to 1965-66 Joe was a graduate student at Syracuse University in Upstate New York. He and another older student named Roger were riding herd on a bunch of freshman and sophomores in Watson West Dormitory. I was there with my neighborhood buddy Mel occupying Room 322. Little did we know, right? Guess I could have got him to autograph my slide rule or my transistor radio. It was a while ago.

That is quite a story, Felipe! I think Joe Biden would love to know of your “distracted self” that also occupied the same room at University!
And those loves are the best! In this world where it seems to be more craziness everyday, I think we all need to focus on thinking that the future has the chance to be a good one… just and only if we make sure in the present we are working towards this (just shocked in horror at what happened in New Zealand… not just the massive murder but the rationale that was behind…)

Cris ~ yes Cris, Joe Biden right there in front of us. Who was president at that time, Johnson maybe. It would seem a big leap to picture Joe as president back then. I think that he would make a good president now. He might be too old school for the electorate though. It is still way early in the process.
Yes, and the New Zealand tragedy. It seems beyond imagination to have the type of thinking that produces outcomes like that. We pray for them and our future. The world deserves a better world. Felipé.x
