The Rain Is Sprinkling Down On A Saturday Morning

Well, finally a little rain. We were getting very spoiled with all the sunshine and warmth lately, but not today. But OK, we’ll work with in.
Good time to do our Zooming.

Yesterday afternoon Annie O’Neil and myself had a Zoom session with Dr Kate Barush, our Catalina, showing Phil’s Camino and doing a QandA. This was for her graduate class on Art and Pilgrimage. That was a kick. Her classes always have great questions. Watching the film again was extra special for me. I guess that I haven’t seen it in a while and it still has all the magic that it had.

Then this morning we had our weekly Bible Guys meeting. That is going really well. We have been surprising ourselves with the ease of that. So we are carrying on well with our study and revelations. But we miss having breakfast together for one. But then again we have included two guys from out of town who used to be with us but now have moved away. So, it has it’s advantages. Maybe when we are eventually through this we will have some sort of hybrid situation evolve.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of helping one of Wiley’s buddies start putting up cedar shingles on his new tiny house. We have this exterior on most of our buildings at the ranch so it was a natural for me to get him started. It is a fun system that is as old as the hills and very protective and has a pleasing look. And me, I always enjoy seeing the fruits of a day’s labor one of the advantages of working with your hands.

The shingling project was with James, who I have termed “The most interesting man in the world in training”. Here is a pretty cool video he just put out taken in the neighborhood:

Well, I have to get going for now.

Hope your day is good loves, Felipé.
