I know where we are, just a few kilometers west of Burgos. The cathedral was most beautiful but great to be out in the boonies again. Our next town is Villabilla de Burgos coming up tomorrow.

Walking schedule:

Monday 0900-1000
Tuesday 1530-1630
Thursday 0900-1000
Sunday 1530-1630.

Don’t forget the rubber boots. Felipe.

  1. Oh that walk into Burgos was the most difficult section of the whole trip through that long stretch of industrial landscape, and long strip of urban sprawl. It was our fellow pilgrims walking like a colorful, dirty parade that made the going more light hearted. Kind of like life, our community helps us through the bleak times. Walk on Pilgrim, walk on.

  2. Catherine ~ wonderful tapas yesterday, thanks. Yes, for sure, I remember that stretch vividly. I was walking with Gracie from Australia. It is one of a handful of memories that I can connect to a specific place and time. 95% of my time/memories there are a big beautiful blend. Maybe the ugliness of those few kilometers were a big departure from run-of-the-mill beauty of rural Spain and why it stands out so. Run-of-the-mill Spanish beauty, there’s a blog! Felipe.
