Well, we got our Joe sworn in today and not only just sworn in but sworn in in massive style. Oh, my gosh. Did we need that or what? The call for unity was front and center. We here at the ranch were very moved.

But for me the whole show was stolen by a twenty two year old poet. If you did not see the presentation by Ananda Gorman, Google it up! She followed so many great acts and still stole the show. I need the t-shirt.

She Put a Spell on Me

  1. I take it that he supports universal health care in the USA?I was very impressed with the radiation department of the hospital I go to and the English NHS in general .I live in a village about 30 km as the crow doesn’t fly north of the town the hospital is in and one day they asked me if I could come in on a Sunday morning,I thought quickly and said that there’s no buses or trains to get me there for 11.no problem they said and booked a taxi for me which I’d guess would have cost me about £25(about $35)if I’d have had to pay.some of my Thatcherite friends I knew from Oxford are always extolling the benefits of privatizating health but wait and see what they say when they get ill I can’t see oligarch Richard Branson providing a free taxi!

  2. I’m still teary eyed. I forgot what easy breathing feels like. Amanda put a spell on the whole world watching. We are fortunate today, indeed.
    Ahhhhhh

    1. Steve-O ~ yea, there couldn’t have been a bigger change. Pretty amazing and then there is Amanda! Well, that feels like a big 2021 puzzle piece that needed placing. Onward, Felipé.
